Del Rio Student Center students participated in the first annual Palm Academy Art Camp, learning how art enriches areas such as literacy, science and the global community. Students created “drawbots” (moving robots that explore physics through art), worked on a community art piece that will hang in the new Palm Academy facility and learned about how art connects to storybooks.
In other Del Rio news, staff member Kimberly Iverson is earning her degree through the Working Scholars program offered by the City of Perris; she plans on becoming a special education teacher.
