Temecula Student Center graduating senior Shane Alayvilla has been honored with a Murrieta Valley Chamber of Commerce High School Student of the Year award.
Student award recipients and their families were honored at a breakfast sponsored by local businesses and each received a $2,314 college scholarship. Shane has a 4.25 GPA and takes advanced and dual enrollment classes. He is president of the National Honor Society, president of the Interact Club, and president of the school’s robotics team. He is also a youth worship leader at his church. Shane interns at a local engineering company and plans to attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and study electrical engineering.
