Elisabeth Pearson, 14, is a Winchester resident enrolled in the Springs Homeschool program. She wanted to go to Springs, she said, because it offers “a variety of learning opportunities.”
She has enjoyed art for much of her life, she said, and has been expanding her artwork into different mediums, such as digital. She is currently taking an online course in drawing with realism. Her favorite medium to work with is oils. She likes to draw landscapes, she said, because “nature is very inspiring to me.” She also enjoys performing in theater productions, playing the piano and volleyball and reading. Favorite books include works by Jane Austen and the Bible. She is the sixth of nine children, and added, “The most important thing I can share about myself is that I am a born again believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.
