It was not hard to pick out two young boys dressed in business attire in a room full of adults. The boys, Peter (age 10) and Erwin (age 9), came to DC with their parents Erwin and Diana Mendoza. The family has five children and they are home-schooled, or as the Mendoza’s prefer to say “world- schooled.”
The children had been studying American History so when the parents decided to attend the Washington Presentation they took them along. Diana Mendoza said, “It was a great opportunity to use NSBA’s guidance and contacts to talk to congressmen and help the children experience how things work. Full Article
