On the weekend of July 31st the Temecula Fire Department with the Temecula Citizen Corps were able to provide the Springs Charter Schools employees 20 hours of Community Emergency Response Training.
Approximately 30 employees successfully completed the training over the weekend and were given their starter CERT response back packs.
The school staff had many great questions and worked many emergency scenarios out so that they could further improve their planning and preparedness for the emergencies that could occur such as fire, earthquakes, power outages, flooding, and more.
It was very evident by the hard work and eagerness to learn and improve their skill hands-on with search and rescue, triaging, and cribbing that the personnel at the school has a great care for their students.
We look forward to helping more employees of the school complete their CERT training so that their plan of preparedness and emergency response is one of the best in the Temecula Valley.
