Springs’ Special Education Department hosted a Winter Festival for COMPASS (extensive needs) and PASSPORT (adult transition program) students, reported Jonalie Oeum, department coordinator, “a day filled with fun, food, and friends.” Parents and siblings participated.
Participants enjoyed crafts and sensory activities, including Paper Roll Snowmen and Pine Cone Snowy Owls, and exploded their lunch bag snowmen in a hilarious science activity.”
Jonalie added, “As always, Tabitha Frazier, Jo-Anna Semingson, Marsha Elison, Corey Hughes, and the support team did an awesome job in interacting with and supporting our amazing students! Thank you, Michelle and Sarah, for stopping by and joining in all the fun with our kiddos.”
