RVA Students Assessed for Career Interests

Springs’ Renaissance Valley Academy (RVA) had 38 students participate in an ASVAB assessment, a tool used to guide participants towards careers they could undertake after graduation.  Additionally, two RVA staff members have launched a Royal Rewards Program to recognize and reward positive choices by students, reported Brian Bailey, vice principal.

In other RVA news, the school’s afterschool program is up and running with a combination of academic support, intramural sports, American Sign Language and performing arts opportunities with the organization From the Heart.  And, the RVA intramural football team took 1st and 2nd place at the Springs Intramural Flag Football Tournament.
