Venture Skater Plans Career in Medicine

Caylin R. is an 11th grade Springs Venture student who is a talented figure skater. She is working to complete a set of figure skating tests in classes she’s taking to improve her skills, and has begun an internship at a figure skating academy. FAPA Launches First Robotics Class

Middle school students in Springs’ Flabob Airport Preparatory Academy’s (FAPA) first robotics class are learning to program microcontrollers in its “What’s a Microcontroller” class. Students completed their initial egg drops and are learning about the engineering design process so that they can engineer an updated verson of their first “egg delivery system.” Continue reading

iShine 8th Grader is a Gifted Rodeo Rider

Brody Neely, 13, an 8th-grade student in Springs’ iShine program, is a gifted rodeo rider and roper. He competes in two or more rodeos a month and is a top rider in the State of California. He has been sponsored to ride by many companies, and has won many prizes in competitions. Continue reading

Corona Hosts Sandy Hook Kickoff Welcome

Springs’ Corona Student Center held a Sandy Hook Kickoff welcome, which included the students taking a student body photo on the playground with students arranged to spell out the word “hello.” The Center is participating in the Sandy Hook Promise program, which includes meeting to discuss isolation and loneliness, and understanding their harmful effects on young people. Santa Ana Student Center Adopts New Knights T-Shirt

The Santa Ana Student Center has adopted a new t-shirt with a “Knight’s Pride” logo for the 2019-20 school year. (Principal Monica Lopez is pictured with the students wearing the new t-shirt.) Students will wear the t-shirts on Wednesdays for special events.  Continue reading

Murrieta Student Center Hosts Math Night

Springs’ Murrieta Student Center hosted a Math Night featuring math-themed games, interactive math puzzles, a game of Kahoots and pizza provided by the Murrieta Associated Student Body. One hundred fifty students grades TK-6 participated. Continue reading
