Murrieta Student Center International Day

Springs’ Murrieta Student Center held an International Day with 16 classrooms each showcasing a different country and offering a glimpse into its culture, food, art, and activities. As part of the event, each student received a passport which they were encouraged to get stamped as they made their way around the classrooms. Families were also invited to attend and were encouraged to participate by visiting each country and sampling what they had to offer.

The countries represented included Brazil, China, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The displays were created by students and teachers; it was a unique opportunity for students to learn about different cultures and customs from around the world. They were able to experience different foods, music, and clothing from each country, and engage with their peers in activities such as dance, crafts, and games.
