Middle School Students Volunteer at Food Pantry

Middle school students participating in the Community Connections Enrichment Class at Springs’ Murrieta Student Center – Montessori Middle are assisting at a local food pantry, reported Dylan Canal-Estevez, receptionist. The class, Dylan said, is “essential in helping to foster connections with community members and the importance in offering a helping hand whenever one can.”

Vice Principal Bridget Ayala facilitates the program, which draws from 10 to 15 students weekly. Its purpose, Dylan said, is to promote community welfare and stress the importance of “giving back to your community.”
