Samantha Clary, a 7th-grade student at the Bear River Student Center, is the May 2021 Student Artist of the Month. She is 12 years old and lives in Menifee.
Samantha likes to draw people using alcohol markers, felt tip pens or watercolor, or she might also draw digitally. Besides art, she also enjoys skateboarding and basketball.
She has been a Springs student since kindergarten. Her parents placed her with Springs, she said, because they were seeking a better educational opportunity for her. She added, “[Springs] has been a great school for me!”
