Springs Homeschool hosted the Imagination Machine Assembly at Springs’ Riverside Pathfinder site with more than 75 students in attendance. Students participated in a creative writing workshop, including creating characters, establishing a setting, and resolving conflict in the plot. Some students’ stories will be selected to be acted out by Imagination Machine in February.
In other Homeschool news, the staff presented eight regional park days for families, reported Nikkole McAdoo, events and community engagement coordinator. She said, “Park Days is a great opportunity to use the community as the classroom and for our Homeschool families to connect with one another in their own local communities.”
