Springs’ Explorer Student Center in Fontana held a “Back-to-School Night” with nearly 100 participants, reported Principal Kari Lewis. Activities included a scavenger hunt and a LEGO building station. Kari said, “It was a wonderful opportunity for families to connect, explore, and experience the engaging environment we strive to create for our students every day.”
In other Explorer Student Center news, Cindy Walker joined the staff as a Transitional Kindergarten (TK), Kindergarten, and first grade teacher. And, to close out the month of October, the school held Fall Spirit Week with themed dress-up days that gave students “a chance to express themselves, show their school pride, and join in the seasonal excitement.” Themed days included pajama day, favorite team/sport day, and favorite fall flannels day.
The Explorer Student Center is still welcoming new students. Click here for additional information: Springs Explorer Student Center, Fontana – Springs Charter Schools.
