Springs Homeschool students enjoyed an exciting two weeks in the San Bernardino Mountains during the “Blizzard of 2023,” reported Nadia Phillips, education specialist, with snowfall culminating in a historic total of 7-9 feet in the mountain communities.
Students enjoyed playing in the snow and helping their families and neighbors dig out their homes and delivered food as needed. Roads were impassible for a time, Mrs. Phillips noted, so families had to walk to town to buy groceries and other supplies. She said, “What a winter storm we had!”
