Joshua “JJ” Henderson of Indian Wells is a 10th grader with Springs’ Venture Online Program and an avid tennis player. He began playing at age 4, and competing at age 6. He said, “I have had the privilege of traveling all over the world because of my tennis ability.”
Traveling has given him the opportunity to experience new cultures and learn about the world; Venture has enabled him the opportunity to attend school while traveling. He is also able to train not only in Indian Wells, but at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida through his sponsorship with Dunlop Sports.
He believes he has had the opportunity to learn about different subjects, while not feeling “left behind like many of my peers have experienced in public school.”
