Springs’ Temecula Student Center has installed a new Buddy Bench through “the generosity of Springs Student Services,” shared Melissa Targos, program facilitator.
Located near the lunch tables, the Buddy Bench offers a special place where students can sit “if they are feeling lonely, new to the school, or simply looking for a friend to join them. It acts as a gentle, positive visual cue for peers and staff that a student is seeking companionship, encouraging a culture of kindness, inclusion, and lasting connections. This meaningful resource helps make the site an even more welcoming and supportive community for every student.”
