Lia Flores, 13, an 8th grade student beginning her 2nd year at the Otay Ranch Academy for the Arts (ORAA), loves the “freedom and independence” she has at Springs.
She said, “Springs is an amazing school system, with some amazing schools, especially ORAA.” The Chula Vista resident’s favorite subject is math. She hopes to be a model, actress or dancer when she grows up. She loves to dance in her free time, as well as ride her bike or go to the gym. She’s always loved school, and believes she has had a successful experience at ORAA. Her advice to new students: “Work hard and learn to do things by yourself.”
