Kelsey Bogner, age 19, is a senior in the KEYS program. She lives in Winchester and came to Springs six years ago, she said, “because I was maliciously bullied by my peers and it was hard to get through each day.” Her education specialist, Summer Knapp, said Kelsey was doing well with KEYS, completing her work on time and earning straight A’s. Kelsey said, “This program and Mrs. Knapp have helped me achieve good grades and the confidence in myself that I was missing. It has helped me to grow in many ways.”
Kelsey’s favorite subjects include medical terminology and visual arts. Upon graduation, she plans to travel and enter a trade school to study for a career in the medical field.
Her hobbies include visiting amusement parks, horseback riding, baking, cooking, spending time with family and friends and jet skiing. She added, “And any time I can get to the beach, I am there!”
