Diane Villegas, a 16-year-old in the 11th grade, attends Hemet Student Center. She has been attending Springs schools since 7th grade.
She said, “My parents chose this school for me for a better learning experience and to be more secure.” Diane enjoys painting, she said, because “it sends my mind to a different place where I can be creative and no one will judge me. I usually get ideas from the people around me and from famous painters such as Pablo Picasso and Vincent Van Gogh.”
This is her first year painting. To paint, she works with hair brushes, acrylic paint, oil paint, pastels and, most important, a pencil and an eraser! Her favorite subject in school is English. Besides art, she enjoys music, theater, cosmetics and volleyball.
