David Arteaga, 16, is an 11th grader at Magnolia Student Center. He lives in Riverside and has been attending Springs for two years. Of his artwork, he said, “I like to take photos of nature or city life. Most of the time I use my camera and Photoshop for my projects.”
He began taking pictures in elementary school while on family vacations. When he began high school, he started to enhance his work via web design and video editing. His other interests include playing the piano and guitar, rock climbing, and hiking. He likes to travel and has been to Europe, Canada, Mexico, Central America, Alaska, and the Caribbean. When he graduates Springs, he’d like to attend UC Berkeley or UCLA and study abroad.
