Springs Discovery Charter School back-to-school night activities included an art room, shared by Brigette Chavis, program facilitator, in which students used LEGO bricks “to build their vision for the future. They wrote their personal goals directly on the bricks and mounted them on the wall to inspire others.”
Teacher Tiarra Turner organized the activity.
Students also had the opportunity to play musical instruments in a music room. The teacher, Kyle Harris-Archie, performed on the saxophone.
