Springs’ Rancho Cucamonga Personalized Learning Center’s Discovery Academy will welcome 80 new students in the 2019-20 school year, reported Jared McLeod, principal. In just four years, the Academy has gone from 20 to 340 students in grades K-8.
To serve these students, the Academy has hired specialist instructors in the areas of Visual Arts, Music/Choir, Physical Education and STEM to “further our mission and vision of personalized learning to all students.”
In other Center news, through the efforts of Holly Hungerford Cocking, Springs’ Director of Nutrition Services, the Center has been enrolled in the Community Eligibility Provision, giving students access to breakfast and lunch at no cost to families.
