In an effort to promote positive attitudes in the global community, Springs National Honor Society (NHS) and National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) members created a campaign to “spread the love” with the hashtag #STLHeartChainChallenge.
NHS/NJHS Advisor Colette Bozek invited members of the Springs community to share the hashtag via social media.
In other NHS/NJHS news, members recently completed Cozy Tozies, the group’s first chapter project, in which socks, jackets, beanies, and scarves were collected for the needy. Items were donated to shelters in the foothill communities of San Bernardino County. The group also made cards over the Winter Break for residents of My Friends Place, a teen shelter in Hollywood, and military personnel overseas through the Red Cross’ Holiday for Heroes program.
