Learning Labs Welcomes 175 Students

Dr. Sherri Kemp, Homeschool director of high school learning labs, reported that the learning labs have welcomed students back to campus with 175 students already participating in programs. She said, “Our teachers and students hit the ground running, engaging in interactive and fun lessons. Mr. Thompson’s science class used Skittles to create graphs, and Mr. Antilla’s class estimated the size of their new classroom during the first week.”

In preparation for the first day, the team gathered for collaborative training to ensure a seamless start for students, she noted. New staff members include A’Meenah White, Peyton Vogel, Spencer Kennedy, and Pierre Nguyen.
She concluded, “We are pleased to share our expanded high school learning lab offerings marked by the launch of our new Corona site, a new Hemet campus, and expanded classical offerings at Pathfinder and Santa Ana.”
