Journey teacher Scott White will discuss “Hiroshima and the Birth of the Perilous Present: How the Atomic Bombing Set the Stakes for Modern Global Threats” at the Pacific Coast Branch of the American Historical Association (PCB-AHA) on July 31. Scott has been working on his Master’s degree in history and will discuss the purpose and outcome of his research.
Scott noted that presenting to the PCB-AHA will be “a professional milestone that goes beyond the requirements of my graduate studies.” He continued, “This national academic conference brings together scholars from across the country to share original research, making it a meaningful opportunity to contribute to broader historical conversations at a professional level.”
