History Day Gives Students a Chance to Showcase Work

Agathay McIntyre (pictured) composed a ballad about the English Empress Matilda for Springs’ annual History Day for grades 4-12.

Other participants included Ryann Sell, who presented on Willem Kolff, the father of dialysis, Yamileth PazMacy De Jong and Alexander Shepard, who reenacted the 1967 U.S. Supreme Court case Loving v. Virginia, and Addison Lambeth, who presented on Clara Barton and the Red Cross.  The event provides students an opportunity for flexible learning, and the chance to showcase their project and move on to the country-level competition.
