Springs Track & Field team has finished its regular season, having competed in meets against 200 athletes from a variety of schools. Five students have the opportunity to advance to league finals on May 1:
Zach Wheeler, 800m; Shawnnae Gresham, 200m; Diane Villegas, shot put; and Rebeca Galvan, discus.
Wishing them luck in finals, Coach Dax McGregor said, “It is an honor to have these students at our schools and it is an honor for me to be part of their lives.” Coach McGregor invites all interested members of the Springs community to come and support the participants. The competition will be held Monday, May 1, at Rancho Verde High School in Moreno Valley. Field event begins at 2 p.m. followed by track.
