Community in the classroom and hands-on learning were experienced by CTE Design, Visual, and Media Arts students from the Pathfinder Student Center.
On March 15th, CTE Teacher, Robin Luther, and her students traveled to the Riverside Art Museum. During their visit, the students toured the entire museum and learned about its history, were able to participate in a hands-on printmaking workshop with the artist-in-residence, Matt Luther, and had a discussion and creative writing assignment about the photography exhibition “Trabajamos: In the Fields of the North” by David Bacon. Two students, Delilah Cohen and Daniel Rubio, are receiving real-world experience as interns for Mr. Luther during his residency at the museum.
