Bear River Student Center is celebrating a series of Spirit Days this school year, and is asking students to come in costume to show their school spirit.
Recent days have included a Harry Potter/story book day; 5th grade teacher Amy Jonas took the prize for not only dressing as a Harry Potter character but decorating her entire classroom to reflect the popular children’s series. Other days have included a 70s day, and a wear pink day to raise awareness of breast cancer.
In other Bear River news, the school held its first ever 3-day science camp at a site near Big Bear. The camp is being followed by a leadership camp for 7th and 8th grade students. Bear River serves 600 students grades TK-8.
