Journey Homeschool High School students enjoyed a visit from animation screenwriters and Emmy award winners Doug and Candie Langdale whose credits include Scooby-Doo, Book of Life, and Darkwing Duck. They talked about their careers, obstacles, and how to become a screenwriter. Doug said, “The main goal is to practice writing if you want to become a writer.
Instructional aid Stefanie Nusom encouraged students to “Pay attention in all your classes because everything you do can apply later on when working in the real world.”
Also in October, Springs’ Temecula Student Center (TSC) hosted a homecoming; Journey, Venture, and TSC students played games, danced, and took pictures in the photo booth.
