Luna Fierro, a 1st-grade student at Springs’ Magnolia Student Center, announced to her class that her father, Ronaldo Fierro (pictured), had been sworn in as a Riverside City Councilman for Ward 3, the district in which the school is located.
Luna’s teacher, Cecilia Power, noted that Councilman Fierro had grown up in the city and is “a great example and a role model for our students.”
