Springs staff has been working with the City of Jurupa on developing a new FAPA facility at the Flabob Airport.
The new ten classroom campus will have roomy classrooms attached to a multi-purpose hangar area where project work can be done and airplanes can be rolled in. Additionally, the facility will have an office, restrooms, covered lunch space and outdoor play space. The facility will be at the far corner of the airport, further away from the runways for our students’ safety. Parking, drop-off and pick-up will not go through the airport, but will be directly adjacent to the street. The goal is to move the FAPA students in to the new facility on 2016. Springs Superintendent Kathleen Hermsmeyer commented, “This will truly be a dream realized for FAPA.”
