Bio:
Collin Harrison was raised in San Diego county and attended UCSD, studying physics with some graduate coursework in K-12 education while freelancing as a CAD modeler for various engineering projects. After a year of graduate coursework in physics at UCI, Collin started a family and transitioned to the workforce. He has maintained the labs for physical sciences courses at MiraCosta College, San Elijo, since 2016 where duties consist of a mix of equipment maintenance, faculty support, small group tutoring, and administrative tasks.
Collin shares his three children – Elliott (9), Delilah (5), and Oliver (3) – with his wife, Anna Heinz. Anna is a nurse practitioner focusing on women’s health and healthcare education, including OB/Gyn, labor and delivery, and reproductive care.
Collin spends his free time sharing his love of all things sporting with his children. Endless practices, games, and long training sessions in the back yard eat up countless hours week after week. Collin is also restoring a 1964 Ford Falcon if he ever manages to find the time.
