Education

I taught middle and high school English for nine years and have worked in traditional, private and charter schools. I am thrilled to be part of the charter school community.

I received BA in NH at Plymouth State University. I completed MA in education with a literacy focus in California at Cal State San Marcos.

I have an admin credential and English Single Subject as well as a Reading Specialist Credential
I am a National Board Certified teacher

Favorite Hobbies

Snowboarding (I grew up in the mountains in New England)
Hiking and being in the great outdoorsI
Cooking (vegetarian inspired cuisine)
Reading

Favorite Books

I love memoirs, great American authors such as Steinbeck and Hemingway and adolescent literature!
My favorite books include “The Things They Carried”, “The House on Mango Street”, “The Grapes of Wrath” and many many more.

I am part of five generations who love to be together including my 93 year old grandmother, mother, daughter and 1 year old grandson!

I have snowboarded the highest peaks in the west including Mammoth Mountain CA, Whistler-Blackcomb, BC, Alyeska, AK and Colorado resorts such as Aspen and Steamboat!

I have been a vegetarian for over twenty years!
