Director of Special Events
I worked in the travel business for over 30 years and was the co-owner of Powder Ski Adventures for the last 10. I was an event planner for 10 years as co-owner of Creative Event Solutions. I joined Springs Charter Schools in 2004 as Director of Student Records and used the project managing experience from my previous jobs which also comes in handy for coordinating school wide events.
Reading, traveling, singing, baking, hanging with family and friends.
I love historical novels. My favorite book is “Pillars of the Earth” by Ken Follett; I’ve read it five times. Guilty pleasures include almost anything by Nora Roberts, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Stuart Woods, James Patterson, Fern Michaels, and Robert P. Parker.
I enjoyed school a lot. My favorite grade school subjects were spelling and geography; later on they were Social Science, Music, and Leadership.
I’m one of 7 children. Have traveled extensively in Western Europe. Was mugged in Dublin and had to travel to the police station in a paddy wagon. Was “Girl of the Year” and ASB Secretary in high school.
