Micah Tuck

Micah Tuck, age 20, is a Springs graduate and a member of the gymnastic troupe AcroArmy which recently competed in the finale of the NBC reality competition “America’s Got Talent.”  Micah is one of 18 gymnasts, ages 12-27, who blend dance, acrobatics and balance in synchronized routines.  The Moreno Valley resident was a Springs student beginning in 7th grade; during high school he attended classes at the Magnolia Center.  At age 16, he began in gymnastics, training at the Realis Gymnastics Academy.  He began to compete with a gymnast-partner, winning competitions in both the United States and overseas.  He was then asked to join AcroArmy and compete in “America’s Got Talent.”He said, “The excitement of the show was unbelievable.  Everyone involved with the show, including the judges, were amazing people.”The team took third, “but we were so excited anyway.  We have exposed our sport and skills to people who have never seen them before.”AcroArmy has since performed at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, for half time at a Clippers basketball game, and for a Christmas special on the Hallmark channel.  He is back taking classes at Riverside City College, and hopes to perform more with AcroArmy.  He said, “I stay fit by working out every day and waiting for a call from our choreographer Arthur Davis saying we have a show.”
