Marlene is a businessperson operating two businesses of her own and being an office manager of the Darrow Law Center, A Professional Law Corporation. Her passion for education started with her own children over 15 years ago with home schooling. Since then her daughter has graduated Azusa Pacific College with Honors and has obtained the Presidential Award for her services. Her son is currently attending his 2nd year of college, after graduating high school from River Springs Charter School. Marlene has served on the Board of Directors for numerous artistic children’s programs and is currently on the Temecula Art Foundation Board, which funds local artistic groups. Marlene has always had an enthusiasm for giving back to her community and continues to demonstrate this involvement by currently serving on the River Springs Charter School Board of Directors.
Marlene brings her years of experience as a parent, teacher, and director coupled with her background in law and management to the Board. She continues to be a strong advocate of alternative learning styles and believes that Springs Charter Schools can produce students who are on the cutting edge of academic excellence, which is needed for students to be successful scholars and attain their future career goals.
