Class of 2009
Jessica Riddell, age 23, is a Springs graduate talented in digital imaging and publishing who recently began a new job as a proposal coordinator for REC Solar in San Luis Obispo.She is a graduate of the Renaissance Real World Academy at the Magnolia Student Center. She attended the Academy throughout her high school years, 2006-09. She said, “I valued the freedom I had in how I used my time, and the relative freedom from social pressures.”After graduating from the Renaissance program, she attended Riverside City College and then Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She graduated from Cal Poly SLO in 2013 with a B.S. in Graphic Communication, concentrating in Design Reproduction.She worked for a printer in downtown Los Angeles as the company’s Marketing and Database Administrator and Quality Control Analyst and for an electrical engineering firm in Ventura before starting her current position.
Away from work, she’s active in the blues dance and tabletop gaming communities. She also likes painting, photography, travel and running 5Ks.
