Assistant Director of Assessment
After graduating from Cal State San Bernardino with my BA in Psychology, I decided to try my hand at my dream job…teaching. While teaching grades 4/5/6 in the Alvord school district, I earned my teaching credential and Master’s of Education also at Cal State San Bernardino. I continued to work in the classroom for 5 years.
But then my life changed as I became a mom. I was so lucky to be able to take 10 years off to be home with my three littles.
In 2009, as my youngest started pre-school, I decided it was time to get back in the workplace and found the Springs community. My first experience at Springs was as a homeschool and transitional ES. But I quickly found my home in the Keys Career and College prep program for high school students.
I have a strange hobby, I LOVE watching K-drama. I promise you they are fun and interesting! And yes, I read the subtitles. When I’m not watching Korean TV, I enjoy reading books. Any type of book that will take me to a different world, especially dystopian ones, are my favorite.
Speaking of other worlds, I love to travel. This year I hit my 50th state! Now, I’m planning to go overseas! I just have to get my hubby to agree 🙂
Pride and Prejudice, Dystopian books, paranormal books. Any book that can take me out of this world!
