Director of Payroll
I joined the Springs Charter Schools family in January of 2007, bringing with me accounting and customer service experience. I started with Springs as the Purchasing Agent for one year. I then moved into the Business Department as an Accounts Payable Clerk where I gained great knowledge and skills for a year and a half. I then settled into the role as Payroll & Benefits Technician within the Human Resources Department where I have been for the last 4 years. I have thoroughly enjoyed serving the staff at Springs Charter Schools in this capacity, and I look forward to many more years ahead!
I really enjoy being outside any chance I can get, which includes going to the beach, camping, and going to Disneyland. I also play Ultimate Frisbee on a weekly basis. I love crafting things from paper and making new things from old/recycled items. I also have a passion for fonts and typography. Traveling is a passion and a hobby; I will take any opportunity I can to go somewhere I have never been before. But most of all I enjoy being with my family!
My favorite book would have to be Waiting on God by Andrew Murray. Each time I read it, I get something different from it. I also really enjoy reading biographies.
History
I absolutely love to travel and have been to Ukraine, Haiti, England, Italy, France, Canada and of course, Mexico (and hope that this list continues to grow). I’ve been skydiving and loved every minute of it- just not enough to do it again 🙂 I also completed the Disneyland Half Marathon which was a huge accomplishment for me.
