Corona to Move to New Facility in 2024-25

The Corona Student Center, serving 207 students in grades K-8, has begun classes for its final year in its present location. In the 202425 school year, the center will relocate to a new location on Compton Avenue in Corona which will have 45,000 square feet of space and 29 classrooms allowing it to serve more students, reported Principal E.J. Whitehead.

Springs Enrollment Grows

Enrollment is up across the board in Springs’ programs and student centers in the new school year; some examples of sites reporting significant jumps in enrollment include the Corona Student Center, Cherry Valley Co-op, and the Bear River Student Center.

Corona Students Attend Clippers Game

Springs’ Corona Student Center students participated in the Education Day Basketball Game at Toyota Arena in Ontario as the AC Clippers of Ontario took on the Stockton Kings. Students spoke with players and received merchandise.

CSC Enjoys Playday, School Choice Week

February 9, 2022

Springs’ Corona Student Center (CSC) students visited Sheridan Park, a short walk from the campus, for a fun, Psychology Today-promoted Global School Playday. The students also participated in National School Choice Week, which raises awareness of school choice. Students were invited to dress in themed clothing on individual days, including tie-dye, Disney, and Wear Yellow Days.

CSC Launches New Afterschool Program

September 13, 2021

Springs’ Corona Student Center (CSC) has begun an afterschool program to promote students’ emotional and social well being, reported Principal E.J. Whitehead. Participants have the opportunity to play outdoor and indoor games and to socialize in a safe environment. In the new school year, the CSC is serving 70 students, grades K-8.
