The Little Springs Kinder Center took their classroom learning into the barnyard this week with an “unforgettable” Farm Life Experience, reported Deanna Bereiter, site facilitator. To build on its farm curriculum, TK/K students “got up close and personal with some incredible animal friends.”
The animals encountered included sheep, a goat, donkey, rabbit, duck, and a rooster. Deanna continued, “Hands-on visits like these bring our classroom lessons to life, giving students a real-world connection to the animals, habitats, and concepts we are exploring all month long.”
