Cherry Valley Barnyard Palooza

During Cherry Valley Student Center’s Barnyard Palooza week, ELO-P students put their “creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills” to work as they designed and built barnyard animals from cardboard, reported Principal Tammy Slaten.

Working in teams, students brainstormed ideas, sketched designs, measured and cut cardboard pieces, and assembled and decorated their creations. Tammy continued, “From figuring out how to make the pieces stand and connect to adding colorful details and finishing touches, students experienced a hands-on building process that encouraged collaboration, persistence, and creativity.”
