Del Rio Student Center is stepping into the school year with an experienced leadership team as Anthony Yanez takes on the role of principal, joined by Vice Principal Wendy Martinez. Del Rio currently serves more than 200 students in grades TK–8.
Yanez has been part of the Springs community since 2019, initially joining as a special education teacher at the Temecula Student Center. He later transitioned to Del Rio, building strong roots on campus while serving as a Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) and vice principal.
Martinez brings a rich background in public service and education to her position as vice principal. Before joining Springs as an ACE in 2017, she worked as a corrections probation officer and social service worker. She previously served as a Del Rio Academy teacher before moving into TOSA and vice principal roles.
