Springs’ Venture Online staff held their mid-year event, which included two days of professional development followed by a field trip with students to the USS Midway in San Diego. Students and staff were able to explore the aircraft carrier, view interactive exhibits, and learn about naval aviation and the people who served on the USS Midway.
It was a week of learning and community-building, said AA Koa Atkinson, and “a perfect example of how Venture Online brings real-world experiences into our virtual program.”
