Journey Homeschool High School senior Anais Park is a leader on her CyberPatriot and Mayors Cup Teams, reported Erin Riley, vice principal, and is “setting the stage for an impressive future in computer science, cyber security, or engineering.” Anais is also a varsity athlete in cross country (a team of which she is a co-captain), basketball, and track and field.
Other involvements include playing the violin with the orchestra at La Sierra University and being National Honor Society president and an AP Scholar with Distinction. She has also completed 11 college courses while in high school. She hopes to attend Harvard, MIT, or Stanford.
Journey and Venture students attended Top Golf in Ontario, added Erin, a game that combines golf and video gaming. Journey Senior Taumua Langkilde said the best parts of the outing was “hanging out with friends, drinking lemonade, and making memories.” Izzy Lopez also had a good time, noting that the group “got to enjoy some competition between each other.”
