Springs’ Temecula Student Center’s (TSC) recent Family Fun Night featured a visit to the Lake Elsinore Diamond baseball park to watch a minor league Storm baseball game, reported Principal Valerie Walker. Valerie was called on to throw out the ceremonial first pitch while many TSC families looked on. They enjoyed an evening of “joy and excitement,” she reported, and students were “thrilled” to chase after foul balls. Vice Principal Jeanette LaRue added that such events fostered a “strong, connected school community.”
More Family Fun Nights are planned for the new school year. Valerie concluded, “A big shout-out to the amazing TSC PTSA for their dedication to organizing and fundraising for these special events that bring students and families together.”
