Ja’lisse Woolfolk, age 9, is the December 2022 Student Artist of the Month. She lives in Murrieta and is in the 4th grade at the Temecula Student Center.
Ja’lisse has been a Springs student since kindergarten. Of her time with the school, she said, “It’s been good. I really enjoy having my long-lasting friends since we’ve known each other so long and are really close.”
She likes to draw animals using acrylic and watercolor paint, colored pencils, and markers. Besides art, she loves singing, watching musicals, and taking nature hikes. She loves animals and has a puppy and two Betta fish. After she finishes school, she said she’d like to be a famous singer, explaining, “It makes me happy to have music around.”
