Education

I am an alum of the University of California @ Davis: Class of ’92. I received my Single Subject Teaching Credential from Chapman University–Administrative Clear Credential from National, and My Master’s Degree from National University.

Favorite Hobbies

I coached football and baseball at the High School and Youth levels. I adore hanging out with my four dogs: 3 Shihtzus and 1 Bulldog. Nothing beats working on my yard–love nature.

Brothers Karamazov: Dostoyevsky, Les Miserables: Victor Hugo, The Tipping Point: Malcolm Gladwell: (My favorite Author)

Favorite Subject

History and The Social Sciences (Archaeology): I especially love immersing myself in the history of the Fertile Crescent and Egypt and ancient Anatolia (Turkey).

Fun Facts

I am the eldest of seven children. I have been married for 35 years. I was born in Mexico in a small village— the house I was born in is made out of adobe bricks, constructed by my father.
