Several elementary students from Magnolia Academy sang with La Sierra University’s Academy of Visual and Performing Arts (AVPA) Youth Chorus at the Riverside Festival of Lights on December 7.
The Youth Chorus, directed by Czarina Francisco, is a choir committed to providing artistic instruction of the highest quality for K-6 students of all musical backgrounds in the community. It is free of charge.
Susana Duarte, parent of Valeria and Joselin, grades 4 and 3, remarked, “I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to see my daughters participate in the AVPA Youth Chorus, plus their performance at the Festival of Lights was a great experience for all the kids.”
The AVPA Youth Chorus will resume rehearsals the first week of January and will also be opening a limited registration for new students for the next season. For more information and to register, email: avpa@lasierra.edu. – submitted by Shiela Kendall
